“Then the Lord came down in the pillar of cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both went forward. Then he said: “Hear now My words: if there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream; not so with My servant Moses; he is faithful in all My house. I speak to him face to face, even plainly, and not in dark sayings; and he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses? “(Num.12:5-8)
The principle of God’s relationship with prophets is visions and dreams. This is how He speaks to His prophets. But Moses, says the Lord, is something different. God says: “But it is not so with My servant Moses.” “Not this way”! Neither in a dream nor in a vision. Moses had neither dreams nor visions. The Lord clearly said that this was how He worked with His prophets: in dreams and visions. But not with Moses. With Moses – “face to face”! Directly, without any parables. “He sees the form of the Lord”! Who is Moses then? If the prophets know the Lord differently. Moses is “God’s faithful servant”!
Therefore, Moses has the status of a “servant of God.” The Lord says, “He is faithful in all My House.” This is a uniqueness of Moses’ intimacy with God: despite all the complaints, flaws and “wrong things” of his life in the camp of people on the “horizontal level”, he still had something that was above all. This is “the faithful servant of God.”
Today there are those who tag along after the anointed ones, make notes of this and that in their “black book”, expect their fall, just ill-wishers who are watching them closely.
The Lord said to them: “Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses ?!” You say: “Well, how is that? After all, he is not right! ” – That is none of your business!
Watch yourself. Who is there among you observers, “delightfully holy”? Perhaps, you didn’t notice how your feline got covered with leprosy, and it is spreading upwards. Do you know what’s got to happen? That we must quickly stop and begin to be a faithful servant of the Lord.
The fall happened in public. As soon as the cloud departed from the tabernacle, Miriam immediately was covered with leprosy, like with snow. It was the Father’s spit. God spat in her face. Picture it, the three of them stand, Moses is also there – he is the meekest man, Aaron, who complained that God spoke through them also, he was in the priestly clothes that Moses actually made for him, and Miriam, his sister. And in an instance, suddenly, she is covered with leprosy. White as snow. A blow. In a split second – she is all covered with leprosy all the way from the top of her head to the sole of the foot! A spit is saliva. This is serious.
You will say: “What are you talking about? This doesn’t refer to me!!!” “And the Lord heard it!” – that’s what is important. Now you won’t escape it, you will hold an account for it. This shall happen. I prophesy this to you. Those who are not guilty will come out and take off, and those who are caught will be given a chance to get rescued! Now, this is the noose of salvation. This Word caught you today. You are caught! It’s one hundred percent true, because it’s a prophetic Word.
The fall was public – a public rejection, a public disgrace of God’s leprosy. A person can continue serving in the leprosy of God, but the Lord reveals. Today we see people falling off – and not just falling off, when the man is gone, but he is covered with leprosy. Miriams and Aarons turn into lepers. They are yoked with leprosy.
And in these times it is necessary for the man to go to the man against whom he has sinned. Aaron addressed Moses: “Oh, my lord! Please, do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned. Please, do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed, when he comes out of his mother’s womb.” In these times, one has to go to the man!
«So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “Please, heal her!” Here is the prayer of the “faithful servant.” Three words. I can say that I had to pray for the healing of people who has sinned, and you can’t think of a shorter prayer. Sometimes they ask me: “Brother, pray!” Sometimes I pray like that: “God, heal her!” There is no need to intercede, “stand in the gap” for hours. Simply: “Forgive and heal!” We may intercede for hours, but that doesn’t work. Or we may simply stretch forth our hand – and there comes life immediately.
“Then the Lord said to Moses: “If her father had but spat in her face, would she not be ashamed for seven days? Let her be shut of the camp for seven days, and after that she may be received again.”
Imagine a father spitting in his daughter’s face. I don’t know if any of you, daughters or fathers, experienced this. But spitting in the face of a daughter – it just doesn’t happen for nothing. Especially if this father is righteous like God and spits in his daughter’s face – this is very serious. Saliva heals. But to spit in the face of his daughter – this is what God did with Miriam. Consider the level of crime that God assessed. This is God assessing the crime that Miriam did – that He spits in her face. Think about it – how people walked with God.
Today in this age of rebellion and opposition we revile everyone. All kind of people get under it, including saints and the anointed ones. This is insane. The Lord demonstrated the quality of this sin, its level, assessing it with a spit.
