“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.” (Book of Daniel 11:32).
The enemy will corrupt, and he is already corrupting. But people who know their God shall be strong and shall act. They will be strengthened in this time of apostasy. When flattery and fear increase, then God’s people will also increase, they will act: those who understand shall instruct many.
Everyone will be tested, and everyone’s work will be tested. The Lord has chosen for Himself a special people, zealous for good deeds. And not the one that needs to be forced to love God.
You will not hide from the overflowing scourge. You must endure at the Cross.
It is difficult to say where it will be more difficult – on which continent and in which country. All shall be tested by fire.
“Yet for many days they shall fall by sward and flame, by captivity and plundering. Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help”
In times of suffering, relief will also be given to the people, they will have some aid. It will be a spot type of grace that will be released into the lives of those who love – things like food, shelter, clothes. We will be the instruments of this spots grace. Arrows of love that “hit the eye”
– but many shall join them by intrigue” (Daniel 11:33-34)
Do not be frivolous and simple-minded. The Lord does not want us to be like this. He wants us to be wise as serpents. He doesn’t want light-minded maids, but wife that understands is like Mount Zion.
And we’ve got to discern those who join by intrigue. They will be there, love them, give them grace, teach them the Word, but discern those who join by intrigue.
Disciples are a different thing. It is not God’s will that there be a crowd of people who constantly “fall”, you can’t count on them.
These days the emphasis in the Scriptures will be different. It is an eternal teaching, but the emphasis comes in a new way.
It is also written that “some of those who understand shall fall, to refine them, purify them and make them white until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time”. (Dan. 11:35)
This is a very serious Word for these days. Let us fear God!
Serpent is characterized by its watchfulness. This is the time to be watchful, careful and sensitive. It’s by no means cowardice, but it is wisdom, which we need today like never before. Like David, of whom David said he was crafty and swift like a gazelle in the mountains; he is impossible to defeat, impossible to catch. But Saul was mistaken – David wasn’t crafty, he was wise, he was anointed and led by the Holy Spirit.
We need a position today. We’ve got to understand and accept this position! We need to make this time our time. This could be my destiny time! This is how those who understand act.
What trends are we seeing at this time? Decay of morality. The curse of swear language. Disappointment in faith. Love cools down. Mercantile philosophy of life, mass ideologies.
What the church of the last days needs is a position of faith and love.
Today, more than ever, we need fiery faith. Apostolic faith, faith in God, faith in the Word. That’s what the church needs today – to trust His Word, His promises, His Heart. Have faith in His revelation.
We’ve got to be guided by the Spirit, not by the advice of people. God speaks to the people, He is not silent. Why don’t we hear Him? Because we don’t ask. He will lead us because He is the Leader.
The Church of the last days needs brotherly love that speaks directly, speaks the truth of God. Brotherly love never leaves, it dies to itself, for the sake of its neighbor. Open your eyes and be of sound mind.
The Church of the last days needs willingness to suffer. It is an integral part of the Gospel. The Son of God was given the grace to taste death for all. It was His grace. His grace is multiple. We must be willing to suffer for Christ.
That’s the Apostolic faith. Who will do us harm if we stand like this, if we are zealous for what is good? This is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a reminder of pure mind, so that we can live holy and wait for the blessed Son from heaven.
