Lifting the gates is power in the Spirit, when you can carry the city gates on your shoulders in church, in your prayer services. You can carry, have fun in flight - this is the power of prayer, the power of prophecy, the power of prophetic proclamation, the power of the Spirit, the pressure in the church when you can lift the gates.
Now we're hearing news of a revival, There's a revival going on in America, in one of the universities. They say that simple youth gathered there and there are no "stars", and they come there from everywhere desiring to get into the meeting.
1. Apostolic mantle in history.
The era of Peter is the dimension of the Apostleship. “I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
This is an important aspect of faith - trust, acceptance. This is immersion into the dimension of being one. We are now all in the present moment: we are neither in the past nor in the future. We are in the present moment. This moment is called life. What I lived in the past no longer exists.
First is “learn to be weak”. It is even more than a martial art of the spirit. We all want to be anointed, strong, and especially preachers: they must always be on top - people look up to them, they must always be anointed, but they themselves know that they are not such.
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:6-13).
Revelation
I see a bride who lost the ring given by the bridegroom.
While her bridegroom had not yet arrived, she went and made a copy of the ring given by the bridegroom, and demonstrated it around, presenting as genuine. The bride didn’t want anyone to learn of her loss and thought that the bridegroom wouldn’t notice and wouldn’t know.
God is always supernatural. God’s presence is always signified by supernatural influence.
In history they transferred it all into intellect, they lost the power, simplicity and made things complicated with clothes, religious buildings. But Christ is in neither of that.
