People who are unable to perceive information other ways are very sensitive to the voice. A man’s voice is very important; you can learn a lot from it.
I encourage everyone – hear God’s voice!
I was once invited to preach in Toronto. It was a ministry that had broadcasting program for North Korean believers. What could I say to people who keep their Bibles in plastic bags buried in the woods? Me, a preacher whose level of persecution and life risk is practically zero compared to theirs? I prayed, and the Lord revealed to me to share about the voice with the North Korean church. I told them that if they learned to hear the voice, it would lead them to a broad place, that the most important thing in a Christian’s life is to hear God’s voice.
If you don’t hear God’s voice, you will always repeat people: quote other people’s thoughts, imitate and copy other people’s revelations. When you learn to listen to God’s voice in a real way, when the Lord begins to speak and lead you, you will follow the voice. In the book of Revelation it says, “I turned to see the voice that spoke with me.”
When I preached in Toronto, the North Korean brothers and sisters could only hear my voice through an interpreter. I shared with them how my father, at the beginning of his belief, heard a voice, “I have preserved you for My Father. If you die to sin, you will be born again!” My father was an officer, a communist, raised by an atheistic system. But he heard God’s voice, and that voice revived him. I wasn’t home when it happened, and when I came back and he told me and showed me the words he wrote down. I showed him the place in the Bible saying the same, “Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, the brother of James, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father and preserved by Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:1). Jesus preserves us for the Father. His mission is to preserve us.
My father didn’t see Jesus, didn’t know the Scriptures, but he heard the voice. What he experienced was what the Bible says: “The Spirit breathes where it pleases, and you hear his voice, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes: so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit” (John 3:8).
It is important to hear God’s voice. And God’s voice is not just a tender wind. Some people don’t like loud music, annoying noises. They like silence, and they say there is depth in that.
Well, not necessarily. There are different elements of God’s appearance. Elijah saw it when God’s fire came and devoured the stones. God Himself is the fire. Don’t preach against the fire, that the tender wind is greater. It was at one point in time. God is not wind, He is the fire. Also, there is a place in Scripture that says “the wind tearing the rocks,” and God may be in the wind. The wind came on the day of Pentecost and brought the fire! It wasn’t quiet there, the church was being birthed, and a baby gets born in a loud way.
God’s fire came down on the hundred and twenty and blazed over them as tongues of flame. I have heard of the same phenomenon when the Lord baptized a man with the Spirit – and fire was burning over his head, people clearly saw it.
God may come in an earthquake.
Once there was a great earthquake in Nepal, and all the thousand-year-old temples, the idols that were in them, were destroyed in one second, turned to ashes. The Lord stamped His foot, shook the earth, and the abomination was crushed. This is very serious. When God speaks, when He does His work, it changes the whole world, tectonic rifts occur, the animal and plant worlds change.
God says, “I will shake all nations!” He will shake the nations politically, socially economically, spiritually. Every awakening is a shaking. But it is the voice of the Lord that causes it all.
The light comes from the East. Jesus is the “star from the East.”
Connect with the Eastern Gates. These Gates can be in different places at the same time, they can leave one place and appear in another, they disappear underground, then come from above. It is a being. The Throne of God is a being. It is not a throne or a chair. All thrones with expensive upholstery are only a miserable likeness of the throne of God. Therefore, the Throne is not a seat – it is a position and it is a being. The prophet saw “the likeness of a being,” “the likeness of a rainbow,” because it is impossible for man to describe it in words.
Revelation from the Eastern Gates. A great cloud, out of which came a swirling fire. The person who saw it said that it lasted for what seemed like hours and even days, it went on for a long time, as if it were another dimension. On the one hand, it was horrible, on the other hand, it caused delight. The amazing experience was not on a physical or mental level, but as if you left your body and got into another dimension. Words are not enough to describe it.
A great cloud, out of which came a swirling fire. (A slow vision, like days, a period, a season). It all covered the Eastern Gates.
This is happening now, in this moment of time. These are not any nice stories, for some people it’s going to be very serious traumatic things, because ultimately, God wants to save your soul, and He will do everything to make sure that you are saved.
And out of that cloud and fire came the Angel of God all like a flame of fire. In his hands were a sickle and a trumpet. Those who were connected with the cloud and the fire had an understanding that a special time was beginning in which changes were coming, where you had to be prepared and watchful.
Be very attentive during this time! Watch your life. Especially the processes that are happening with you. Even on the physical level it may be growing healing without therapy or medication, but for others it may cause acceleration of ageing because you need to prepare for eternity.
It will also manifest on the soul level. There can be powerful empowerment going on. God may begin to speak and act to you in new ways.
On a spiritual level – this is even more important – we need to be very careful to catch that elusive and fleeting sign of a chance or opportunity that will be given to some of the people to move to the next level.
Perhaps the experience you had with God before was traumatic. You’re not happy with yourself, you hate to look back, it’s as if you’ve lost a few years of your life.
Yes, it’s good that you realize that. But don’t pull that strap now, you don’t need to be a “burlach.” Cast the ropes of darkness, quit it and leave this site! Quit the wrong people! Who are you connected with? – You receive demons from them, soul injuries, unclean smells, unclean smoke!
Connect with spiritual people! Connect with the wise! Connect with the spiritual womb! You will experience a powerful change when you are connected with the right people. If you connect with the wrong people, it will always keep you grounded, captive. Don’t open up too much if you are connected to some people by work. If you are not able to change things, but you are being changed, leave the places that you’re not able to handle. Connect with the right people for you to ascend.
And as the revelation says, “whoever was connected with the cloud and fire had understanding.” But some neglect their connection with the Eastern Gates, they stopped valuing it, they forget where they came from. To change your family name is to renounce your father, your lineage, your seed. Don’t deny it. Be sober!
“After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves, and He was transfigured before them; His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make three tabernacles here: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud and said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them, and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid. When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. As they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead” (Matthew 17:1-9).
I tried to understand after what six days the events described in this chapter took place. There were no events, those words of revelation about what Jesus said: “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom” (Matthew 16:28).
“In six days.” Think about what I’m saying – this is solid meat. These revelations don’t go waste. One has to be able to wait! The author of the Gospel counted days. They waited for those days… These were not “careless children” who forgot what Jesus said. They waited and counted the days until the Word was fulfilled.
How do we treat revelation? How much are we exhorted to wait for the fulfilment of what was said? “At the end of six days”… Not after the events, but after the Word.
We don’t pay attention to the words any more, we don’t always value what God says, so as to count days until the fulfilment of what God says. Some would forget right away what Jesus said.
They counted days, and after six days Jesus took especially three of them up on the mountain. He came to the disciples and took Peter, James, and John.
Think about the revelation that came – the Fiery Angel came with the sickle and the trumpet. Lives will be changed. Watch it. Some people got on certain rails and can’t get off them. That is not the life of a man of God. The life of a man of God is a journey inside of you – you keep going to take new territories in the spirit. Don’t move on those rails. A spiritual man never stays in the same rails.
Jesus didn’t take everyone. But no one got offended. Because a culture was created, the Apostles understood that as Jesus said so it would happen.
Jesus was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun… And Moses and Elijah appeared to them. The eyes of Apostles were opened. As it happened with other saints when they suddenly began to see. There are wells around us that we can’t see, and they have to be revealed.
This was not the first time Jesus met with Moses and Elijah. It is normal to live with the Cloud of Witnesses. How wonderful it would be to hear this conversation and learn how the prophets fellowshipped with Jesus. The prophets came to Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration to talk.
Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here… Let us build three tabernacles”…
Let’s build three houses of prayer, let’s dissolve in this glory, let’s enjoy it, let’s do “glory conferences”!
But what did the voice say to them? “This is My beloved Son, hear Him!” Then it says they “saw no one but Jesus.” I used to think it was so great to see Jesus only and not anyone else. But it’s not true. You have to see people around you, so that you don’t knock them off.
Jesus also forbade them to tell about what they saw. Why? Weren’t they so “empowered” coming back from the mountain! But they didn’t understand anything. They remained the same, whether they went up the mountain, or came down the mountain. Only after they were baptized by the Spirit, when they became a “new creation,” could they understand the meaning of what they saw and communicate it to others.
Do we recognize the prophets today? When many prophets rose with Christ from the dead, did people recognize them? Why was Jesus compared to Jeremiah? Because He carried the dimension of the Suffering bond-Servant.
Do we recognize the prophets of God today? Some may say of themselves they are prophets, but they are not. But others don’t literally say they are prophets, but they are, they have the Mantle.
Immediately after coming down from the mountain, Jesus was approached by a man demanding healing. The disciples had to come down the mountain. They carried a revelation. Carry the revelation within you, even if you don’t understand it.
Some of us have been touched deeply by the Lord. You have your experience. But you have forgotten about it today because you have a different life. It’s more “dumb, blurred.” Vanity has taken over. Sober up!
They were to remember this revelation after Jesus rose from the dead and release it to us, even though they didn’t fully understand everything. Hold these revelations. Some revelations are fulfilled immediately. And some will be with you until the eternal day.
How could John the Baptist be Elijah? “…As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send My Angel before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight. John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins” (Mark 1:2-4)
God calls a man an Angel! There are people Angels. Prevenient grace worked – God gave pregnancy to the elderly Elizabeth, then He sent the Archangel Gabriel to Zechariah and sealed his mouth… And a man was born who went into the wilderness to eat locusts and wild honey. And when they asked him, “Are you the Christ?” John answered, “I am the voice,” “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness,” in other words, “I am the cry of God!” It was an Angel, and we didn’t know it. How did Christ say that Elijah had already come? Charismatic theology will not handle that!
How does the cloud of witnesses work with people? How can a man be born in the spirit of Elijah? Not because they are similar in temperament, but because it is the same spirit! Elijah comes, and God’s Word calls him an Angel-prophet. A man whom God called an angel, this same man is called a prophet of the Most High God, he is also called Elijah.
I was once in the area where John lived. A space with a river, totally wild. “And all were baptized of him, confessing their sins.” Who can take this but an Angel-prophet?
“But John wore a garment of camel’s hair and a belt of leather on his loins, and ate locusts and wild honey” (Mark 1:6).
His clothing, food, way of thinking, life style were of an Angel-prophet.
I am talking today about the Angel who comes down to the Eastern Gates – full of fire, with a sickle and trumpet. It may not be one man, but a kind of people. It could be a man who walks in the Angelic and prophetic. It may be a kind of people who carry the dimension of the Mantle for the last days!
He is coming down, full of fire – and a sickle and a trumpet!
Do you hear it? And who of you is the fulfilment of the Word? And who is the Word? And who is the carrier of the spirit of the prophets and Apostles? Who are their sons and daughters that the Apostles would recognize immediately? Who is the carrier of the Spirit of Christ today so that it can be manifested and obvious? Who is it?
The Lord has them today. You seek! God is not poor to look for such. You seek and find in your poverty, in your thirst! Raise your thirst again, create hunger in yourself for the new fire. For the new fire and for the new wine. Rise up in your years, where you already have your rails, as new man, a completely new man!
