Man with a scribe's writing case

Man with a scribe’s writing case

I will share a revealed Word.

“Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed in linen, with a scribe’s writing case at his side” (Ezekiel 9:3).

Do you see? How amazing! The glory of God had gone up from the cherubim. The time when the heavenly comes to earth. This is from the sphere, which Jesus prayed for – that His glory be on earth as it is in heaven. And there have been such transitional moments in history. We call them “awakenings”, but not always awakenings – judgments also come there, it’s just hard for us to accept them. Sometimes catastrophes are also the glory of God that comes to earth. Only the land is unprepared, – the land that smokes under fire. But when it is ready, then it is an awakening, and this is expressed in blessing and prosperity.

And so the glory of the God of Israel had come up from the Cherub. Cherubim can carry God’s glory! And it was on him, but it came to the threshold of the house. “To the threshold” is a very important dimension. The threshold of the house is the conscience of the brethren, who we allow in and who we don’t allow in? Who can be a part of us, and who can never be. This is also our conscience. And conscience is a direct ticket to the kingdom, to salvation. If you have a ruined conscience, you will not enter the kingdom.

Conscience must be well with the soul and heart. “If your conscience condemns you, how much more God?” You must live in such a way that your conscience doesn’t judge you, so that you are in harmony with your conscience. And not because you’ve beaten it, hit it or burned it. But because it is at peace. I looked at the babies, looking into their faces – they have peace there. This is how it should be with our conscience – it should simply be at peace with our soul.

Interestingly, we watch Angels with swords, spears, even with instruments of judgment like scales and so on. But here – at his side there’s a scribe’s instrument, that is, where to write and what to write with. Here comes a warrior, and all he has is a scribe’s instrument. Here is the dimension of the man of God – “with a scribe’s writing case”! This is one of the dimensions of the prophetic mantle.

Today I want to draw your attention – that a prophet comes with a scribe’s instrument clothed in linen – pure and simple clothes. And the scribe’s case at his side speaks that he is one who writes down the prophecies and proclaims what is written.

So it is necessary to keep notes. This man reads from them. Why does he need a scribe’s writing case? – To write down the Word of God! It can’t be that you have a lovely notebook and a pen, but not used by you. Here he has a scribe’s case filled with text, and a tool they write with.

And the Lord called to the man with a scribe’s case. This is who the Lord is calling today! This is the season when such people who have a true and pure intellect, mind and pure spirit, they will be called. These are those who work  with the Scriptures well, who value this book and understand it, who can navigate in this book. And there are true writings there. What kind of writings are those? – What he heard, what the Voice commanded him!

Therefore, write down God’s Word, write down interpretations, write down revelations, learn to write! I won’t deal with people who don’t write anything. Because they are lazy inside. How can you preach when you are not a writer?! I’m sure the one who doesn’t take notes is a bad preacher! Everything he does, he “talks”, deceives people, “talks” over them.

By the grace of God, I strive to be a prophetic person – I write a lot. I am a man with a scribe’s writing case. And the Lord will speak to me. Many idle shepherds who don’t write – I don’t believe they can speak the Word of God. I am not interested in listening to them, because everything they say is what comes to their mind, and not what they have prepared from the Lord, when they were seeking Him, when they gave Him time and spent hours so as not to be mistaken in revelation, checking what is in the Word of God, and not what comes to mind. They have God in their tong.

Remember, you have to be a man with a scribe’s case. If you want to influence and carry the dimension of God, you must have a scribe’s instrument at your side.

“And the Lord said to him: “Go through the midst of the city, throughout all of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and grieve over all the abominations that are done within it” (Ezekiel 9: 4).

The prophet puts marks on people! See what authority is given to this man! He was to determine who would live and who would die. Not even God! He had to determine – whom to put a mark, and whom – to destroy!

By what criteria should he determine this? – Who grieved! In human terms you look at the faces, but grief must be seen inside. This doesn’t mean those people shouted: “I grieve, I grieve!” They also rode public transport, they also pretended to be busy with their phones on the subway, they also seemed nonchalant, but inside their spirit was crying and grieving.

I don’t know – but he had to see through their insides, he had to prophetically determine, because one mistake could lead to injustice, and it would not be a prophet. If he sentenced the one whom God did not sentence, and the executing angel went to destroy all those whom the man had determined to perish.

A man with a scribe’s writing case. Can you imagine what authority! The authority of a preacher is to call evil – evil, good – good, light – light, and darkness – darkness! Today, carelessness is forbidden here. We can’t afford to be careless about preaching.

And this man with a scribe’s writer’s case came up and made a mark on a forehead. It is not that you do this just by hand – you can give to people from eternity, or you can’t give. Personally, I have such an experience – that I don’t give to all people. I feel like I can’t give you because I don’t have the right to. You must come before God – bend down, humble yourself, I can’t help you, I only sympathize. And I can’t always pray – I’m talking about “on whom you retain it, it will be retained, and to whom you loose it, it will be loosed”, I’m talking about “whatever you bind shall be bound”, and “whatever you unbind shall be unbound”. Here’s what I mean, if you know what I mean.

A prophet makes marks – he determines – who grieves, and who shall live. It means to see the inside, to work with the causes.

And here is a man dressed in linen, who has it at his side, waist – it is the truth that is always written down. The waistband of Truth. Not on a purse, where it is fashionable to wear, but at the waistband. “He reported back and said, “I have done as You commanded me!” He does as he is told. He doesn’t do what people will be comfortable with.

Many think today when they give a sermon how much people will accept it. You know, a prophet doesn’t think this way. He does as he is told. He doesn’t walk before people, he doesn’t please anyone, even thoughts don’t work for him about how people will accept it. He is not a man-pleaser, he preaches as he is told.

“Just then, the man clothed with linen, who had a scribe’s instrument at his side, reported back and said: “I have done as You commanded me” (Ezekiel 9: 11).

He went and put marks. I don’t know how many marks he made on the foreheads. Maybe a thousand out of a hundred thousand, maybe three out of a hundred thousand – I don’t know whom he found. This is good – because we can’t know the proportion. We must do as we do in our places. But there must be a plumb line – what it is “to grieve over abominations”, and not just from the pain that “the husband left”, or “the child died”, or “divorce”. Grieve over the abominations! It is the spirit of intercession, the spirit of Christ in these people – who have the right attitude to the world picture, who have put aside their personal needs and focused on the needs of the Lord.

“And I looked, and there in the firmament, that was above the head of the Cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.” (Ezekiel 10: 1).

A prophet is bound to the throne! With the throne! Ezekiel saw it. It’s like a prophet over a prophet. Like an apostle, if you will.

“Likeness of a throne” – yes, maybe you don’t see the throne that way, but for you it looks like a throne. Why does he say so? He saw it! It appeared above them.

A prophet is connected with the throne – always! His prayer is always alive, his prayer always pierces through, his prayer is always an open wound, always inside out, he prays not for words and beauty, if he prays, he prays, if he prays not, he prays not. But his prayer always turns everything around.

“The cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court. Then the glory of the Lord went up from the Cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of the Lord’s glory” (Ezekiel 10:3-4).

We need to pray that the house may be filled, that the court may be filled, and the noise of the wings of the cherubim will be heard even in the outer court – as if the voice of God Almighty, when He speaks.

Brothers and sisters, I pray with you today that we will hear the wings. Who today, as he closes his eyes, will hear the wings? What do you hear today? Noises? Thoughts that attack you? If you just let your thoughts flow by themselves now, where will they lead you? To the grocery store? Or into impurity? Or to oblivion? Or just snoring will be heard after that? Where will your trained pure spirit take you if you let go of the reins? Where will the flow of your thoughts lead you – that is who you are! If you let your boat go with the providence of God and rely completely on trust, where will your boat get ashore? Many will get to impurity. They realize with horror that they are in uncleanness, because something unclean, like a magnet, is drawing them. Even in prayer, their minds are impure. What are you looking at? What are you thinking about? What do you like listening? – There you will be “dragged to”. But some will be taken to contemplating glory.

This is why many don’t see dreams. Because if they saw dreams, they would constantly “bath” in sin. That is why it’s not given to all to see God, because He is to be seen now, here, at this moment.

And today, closing your eyes and calming your thoughts, what do you hear? This prophet heard the voice of the wings of the Cherubim.

What do you hear today when you let your thoughts drift, when you let go of all your fears. Where will your boat be harbored? I want to be drawn to heaven. I want to slowly rise into the clouds and heavens and fly, leaving the burden of earthly anguish and earthly heaviness below, on earth.

“And the noise from the wings of the Cherubim was heard even in the outer court, as it were the voice of God Almighty, when He speaks.” I remember the testimony of a brother when they were walking with a friend: one was fasting, they decided to pray, and he saw an Angel. And the Angel came and showed him the meekness of Christ, the love of Christ, and the glory of Christ. He was shaking with great the amplitude. And when he came out of this vision, he no longer understood anything, he almost died three times. He begged the Lord to stop the vision, because he was dying of delight when the Lord showed the meekness of Christ, the love of Christ, and the glory of Christ. He asked the Angel to stop, and the Angel extinguished this power.

When he came out of this vision, he told this to his friend and asked: “What were you experiencing?” And he replied: “Nothing!” He stood next to him – a meter away from him, they both knelt and prayed, and this one saw the glory of God, and the other did not even feel anything … Incredible! He might as well have felt at least a little bit of how God visited the other one. God came and kissed His Son. And this one He passed by. What was it?!

Isn’t that already judgment? Isn’t this already a judgment – abandonment and absence of chosenness.

“Then it happened, when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying: “Take fire from among the wheels, from among the Cherubim,” that he went in and stood beside the wheels. And the Cherub stretched out his hand from among the Cherubim to the fire that was among the Cherubim, and took some of it and put it into the hands of the man clothed with linen, who took it and went out” (Ezekiel 10:6-7).

It’s not a simple thing to put your hand into the furnace. Here the Lord says to you: “Take fire from among the wheels!” Wheels of fire! They move faster than the speed of light. You understand that they are on fire and they are in motion. You can’t catch the speed – it’s impossible. Because this is eternity.

He says: “Take fire from among the wheels, from among the Cherubim.” And there are the Cherubim, and the spirit of the Cherubim is in the wheels. And from among the spirits of the Cherubim, fire must be taken. And when he came and stood by the wheel, then one of the Cherubim stretched out his hand and took of the fire – Cherub can take coals, he can carry them, and his hands will not burn. Yes, it hurts, maybe, yes, it is incomprehensible, but he takes it through Cherubim and receives it.

A prophet is connected with the Cherubim. Yes, there are people who are connected with the Cherubim. Some of us think so primitively – but if the Lord connects with Angels, why not connect with Cherubim?! How about that? Too high? Who is Jesus then? The prophet is connected with the Cherubim! This is fine. It’s all by faith. This is all in reality. Atomos. The twinkling of an eye.

“The Cherubim appeared to have the form of a man’s hand under their wings” (Ezekiel 10:8).

Cherubim also have strong hands, like men. And the people of God have strong hands like the Cherubim. And he took it, and the Cherubim appeared to have the form of a man’s hand under their wings – with five fingers.

Today we will focus on people with a scribe’s writing case. Let us focus on those who are called to speak the Word. You must have a scribe’s case. You must be a man of inner life, inner order, intellect, records. If you are such, then you have an access to the throne, the Cherubim, the glory of God, coals, the power to “throw on cities” and change cities, the power to have connection with the Cherubim.

What I’m speaking now – the church does not preach this. This is a very strange sermon for today’s homiletics. But the time is coming when God is calling into revelation. He is taking us. Take me, Lord, I want to be with You, to speak not as it is customary, but as You want!

You ask how to apply this to your work or to a diseased kidney? – No comments. Serve the Lord, don’t make Him a servant! Give yourself to the Lord, and do not use grace for your lusts. Change everything the other way around, and everything that we have said today will become clear to you.
