Revelation
1.I see a bride wearing a Muslim type covering. She would come up to the door, behind which the bridegroom was waiting for her, but would turn around and leave, and thus didn’t open. The bridegroom waited for her to open the door, so that either he could come in or she could come out to him
2 The man of God was digging a new well, out of where a powerful whirlwind proceeded. Pouring rain came at the same time and joined with the whirlwind, and it all began to bring changes on earth, bringing good for some and destruction for others. The man of God entered the whirlwind and called others to do the same, but some were very scared, especially those who suffered destruction.
There’s this call for us today not to be afraid of destruction, just go without any calculations, enter in.
These are powerful things. And it seems to me that it all comes to one simple thing, as Paul says: “Remember Lord Jesus”.
“What is the most important thing in faith?” they once asked this question to various believers. Each gave his own answer, and only one man of God said, “Jesus Christ is the most important!” The most important thing in our life is Him. When we lose touch with Him, everything else fades. After all, the main thing is He.
A passage of Scripture:
“And Esther said to Hathach, and gave him a command for Mordecai: “All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman, who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days”. So they told Mordecai Esther’s words. And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will also fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law, and if I perish, I perish!”. So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him” (Esther 4:10-17).”
As Esther commanded him. Mordecai commanded her five minutes ago, and here Esther commanded him – such an interaction between God’s people, military people. It was a question of death and life for the people. There is no advice – there are orders. I urge you to take the Word seriously—and first of all, for yourself.
The king had a whole great casting – many young ladies were brought to the king. And Esther was a simple girl, lovely and beautiful – this is what is of her. Doesn’t say she was brilliant intellectually. And after a time of preparation there she comes before the king, and the king is surprised that she didn’t ask for anything. King Ahasuerus was quite an insightful and wise man, he could really see things, and was surprised by her attitude. Something happened there that the king loved her. It was the providence of God, but yet we are personalities, and there was something wonderful about Esther that made the king fell in love with her and made her his wife. And he was the king of kings on the earth at that time.
Now thirty days pass – the king hasn’t called her. But there arises this situation with Haman and his intrigues involving the whole people. Mordecai asks Esther to go to the king with a request. He even gives an indirect curse that if she didn’t go the whole of her house would perish. And I have a question here that interests me – why he hasn’t called her for thirty days? Was his love gone? Did he get cold to her? Was he busy with the kingdom affairs? But the law was harsh: it was impossible to come in to the king, without being invited, it was punished by death. Still the king could put her to test – he is the king, and a symbol of a very high king. He could really be busy of fasting to restrain…
Here we enter into symbols, interpret Scripture. There are lower stages of knowing His presence – it is to wait for God to initiate His visitation. Like in the revelation, where the bride comes to the door, and the bridegroom is behind that door. He is waiting for her to open it, so that either he may come in or she walk out. It doesn’t really matter which way. The encounter is what matters, and an open door is needed for it.
Many people receive gifts, but after some time those gifts “fall asleep” along the way, because, as the people say, “God doesn’t come to me, doesn’t give dreams, though I’ve done everything, I fasted and prayed, but the gifts ceased. Perhaps, this is a new season.” May be and may be not. May be it is you who is supposed to do something towards Him? Many believers get stuck here – they wait till God initiates His visitation – “May Your presence come”. But we teach people not to wait till He comes, but to go into His presence themselves. Often our level of knowledge in prayer is to ask God to do everything Himself, like a son who makes his Dad run around supplying for all his desires that happen to come to his mind. We pray not according to His will, like blind one. Of course, the Father doesn’t run around, He simply doesn’t listen to such prayers, and we talk to ourselves.
But we must pray listening to His voice in our hearts and move with what He says. We obey Him, not He obeys us. He is not on our errands. How Christ prayed when he said: “Not My will, but Yours, be done!”
Isn’t this how things were arranged to get Esther out of her chambers? You may say, what are you talking about, it was a cosmic war for the people! But wait – Esther is more precious than the cosmic war. The Bride in her value stands next to Jesus! Wasn’t it all planned so that she was forced to leave her palace and, risking her life, go into his presence?
And here we are sitting today and waiting for Him to give us gifts, to fill the church with new people, for the miracles to begin.
As Esther heard Mordecai’s words, she began to act. The entire Jewish diaspora fasted so that Esther would not be killed. She went to him in horror. But the king at seeing her changed his wrath for mercy, held out his scepter to her and holding her up, asked her what she desired. We are waiting for His visitation, but He is waiting for us to open the door to Him. He is right behind it, and the door has to open from the inside.
For me, this is very important. I watch God’s people wandering in the wilderness, while there is so much water! They are lonely, in sorrows that they made up for themselves. Have to walk out of there! We must learn to come to Him, and not wait for His presence.
There are times when things don’t depend on us, and we give ourselves into His hands, but that’s different. I believe that as the Church of the Latter Days, we need to learn to come into His presence and not to wait for it. We need to learn to break open the roads and pave the ways for both ourselves and inhabitants, to restore these ruins in order to enter into His presence freely. When the king saw Esther, he immediately held her and was ready to fulfill her every desire.
Esther was wise and asked the king to come to her for a feast, and then again for a feast. And the enemy of the people was defeated. What was the point of this story? She understood the king wrong. She was afraid to go to him and waited for His invitation. But all the circumstances were pushing her out to go to Him. The Church needs to go to Him herself. Here’s what we need. We need to learn how to make our own paths to Him. Otherwise the church is in its infancy. It is sad. We have learned to command God in prayer meetings. But we don’t know how to enter into His presence with a 100% guarantee. We don’t have the address, the location, ways to do it. Look for a way to come into His presence! This is such a good Word!
