Cambodia. Sien Reap.
Today I want to say we need to find three types of wells, and these are wells with the living waters. Once a servant girl named Hagar had to leave her mistress Sarah. She got lost in the wilderness, and her little boy was dying of thirst They were both crying. There was the voice of the mother and of the child. Today we can also hear voices of the mothers and children. I see here in Cambodian villages the eyes of the women, and they are also crying. As I am sharing this word now, I see their red eyes, and there’s misery in them. And Hagar was praying to God asking for water, but for some reason God heard the voice of the son. The little boy was crying, he wasn’t guilty of anything, he was Abraham’s son, and Hagar, his mother, was a bond-servant. And the word of God says, “I heard the voice of the boy”. And today the Lord hears the voice of the young generation. Here hears the voice of young people of Cambodia. These little children running around all over – He hears their spirit. And today we are to reinforce this voice from the spirit of the children.
Let me read Genesis 21:19 – “God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water”. She didn’t go to dig a well, to make a new well, but she saw the well that was already there. It was near around her, but she couldn’t see it, without revelation. And God opened her eyes. Today God wants to open our eyes. Open eyes are the eyes of revelation. Those are the gifts of the Holy Spirit, so that we can see the Lord and hear the Lord. And then we will see the well.
This new well shall be extraordinary. It shall be the one, which shall save the new generation. If you dip from that well. It will be enough for the new generation to live. This well is the well of your inner resources. This well doesn’t need any international help. This well is inside you. It is neither in America nor in Europe. It is inside Cambodia. If you unseal it the water will flow, and it will be sufficient to have the children satisfy their thirst.
When we began our ministry on mission, we thought someone would bring us the money. We thought someone was supposed to come and teach us. How do we do mission? How do we expand the Kingdom of God? And we prayed, “God, help us! Perhaps you will send us someone form America or Europe?” But the Lord spoke to us: “What is there in your hand? Open up your hand”. Moses said, this is a staff, it was just a stick. – Cast it on the ground. And it turned into a serpent. – Take it by the tail. He took it and it turned a staff again.
What is there in your hand? We need to see this. What is our major resource? I see little, but I do see something. And I see a great resource in Cambodia. As I am in my night visions, I see big deep wells here. But we need deep water divers, which will discover those wells – in the history, culture and spirit of the people.
So she saw what already was there, before her nose. She dipped the water. You know this story, that this boy turned out a strong prince. If you find this well you’ll become a strong nation. Whoever drinks from this well shall influence the people. I prophesy it to you that namely these people will make great changes, those who make use of this ancient well.
Certainly this isn’t Anchor Watt. Anchor Watt died. But this is even deeper. This is even more sacred, and this is a mystery.
The second type of well is written in Genesis 26:18: “And Isaac dig again the wells of water, which they had dig in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.”
The second type of wells means to find old wells that haven’t been in use. The need to be repaired, fixed. They used to work earlier. I read history of Christianity in Cambodia, and it says that first Christians came here in the 16th century. Those were Catholics from Portugal. They came here to bring Christianity. But that’s historical numbers, it is possible that others had come even before. And then there were different wars and world cataclysms. Now statistics say that there were about 200 Christian organizations here and Catholics are few among them. Do you see – time take its own thing. History is like waves in the see – it rolls and take its thing.
Isaac dug out the wells that were already dug by his father Abraham. And there is history of Christianity in Cambodia, and there were wondrous and glorious things in it. There were a lot of good things, there were mistakes, but there were glorious things. Those people passed away, but their prayers continue to work. Their dreams continue to work. And their deeds continue to work. And we need to connect with them. I am certain there are many wonderful stories for us to learn. Restore their honor and dignity.
Do you know that prayer lives longer than man – you pray and die, but your prayer lives. The prayers of those first missionaries continue to live. And to some degree we are here the answers to their prayers.
And third type of wells is Genesis 26:19-22: “And Isaac’s servants dig in the valley, and found there a well of springing water. And the herdsmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him. And they dig another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah. And he removed from there, and dig another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
Third type is new wells. We read that Isaac dug out also new wells. My spirit sees a lot of treasures underground. There’s a need to make way to them and loose them free. There’s a lot of good water, which hasn’t come out yet.But people are thirsty for the water.
New wells are portals where God wants to breakthrough now in this Kairos moment. They connect and synchronize what is in heaven and what is happening in the nation. You need to catch the pulse, the beat of God’s heart now and make it manifest in the land.
So Isaac kept digging – one well – one church, second well – second church, third well – third church. And he kept moving, digging new villages, new cities.
I am very happy to stand here and share what I feel in my heart. You have this great potential, you have the strength to make breakthroughs, so that the water flows. But we need something greater that simply going to church and sing songs. We need to explode in the spirit! We need to set our spirit free. And we need to take a risky leap. We’ve got to take risks, to give out, not keep and hold, but let it go! Then we’ll see miracles.
