Today we need Christ in foolishness. I’ve been thinking about this that we need to enter in foolishness. There are different stages in regard to the foolishness. First stage is not to be ashamed of the foolishness of Christ. Paul says he can’t reduce the foolishness of the cross, because the cross itself is foolishness. Why did God make His “maximum” program that the Son had to die? He is God, He could’ve done it differently, make a different program! Jesus speaks of it saying “I can plead with the Father and He will send twelve legions of Angels”. He did it before through the ark and the flood… God chose the foolishness, in order to bring man back to his original design of purity, directness and light. I believe that namely children represent foolishness. This is why He said, if you do not decrease like children you cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven. Many people tend to return to children because they feel that they are pure, life breathes in them, whereas adult man has lost his way and messed it all up. And this is just a hint, a shadow of the heavenly things. Christ Himself comes as the purest Child of God, He is the Son. And He preserved this foolishness.
The next stage of the foolishness is to be foolish yourself, enter into foolishness. I remember brothers-prisoners – I was won by their directness. I was looking for my hero in different genres, but couldn’t find it. I was attracted by the image of a “sad knight” who had tried everything in life, but came to disappointment. But when I met Christ, a revolutionary work began in my heart. And then I saw this image in brothers – simple and direct and full of light. I realized – this is the way to walk on. I want to keep foolishness in my life, so that I can make a straight call – to love God stronger! Not to be afraid that the Lord is all we need! That the Lord is all our life! And we’ve got to give all of ourselves to the Lord! Do you understand? If I stop saying these things, I have nothing else to do on this earth! I have nothing to do here if I am ashamed to say this. And where are you? What do you speak of Christ? And not only speak, but what do you demonstrate? What are you called – cool or foolish? What are we growing into? What kind of image have we taken for ourselves? What does this “coolness” or “leadership” mean for us? Think about this. How much does people’s opinion matter for us rather than the Lord’s opinion. And here is this pure Christ.
And this directness in those brothers – such a beauty! There’s both intellect and foolishness in it, and that is grace, purest and most beautiful, gracefulness.
It is the incredible power of the spirit, intellect alive, simplicity and directness. You know, it is better to speak straight than to make sweet way to lies.
It has to be love for a language and for a reason why you do so. Therefore, the Lord said, you can’t enter the Kingdom of God unless you decrease like children. And don’t be ashamed of the foolishness, neither it’s message nor the foolish Christ, and enter this yourself. I would desire so much to be simply free – free to be fully merged in Christ, entirely, and nothing else matters.
Revelation.
“I see the sun rising above the Eastern Gates, like the rainbow of many colors that can’t be found on earth, that kept changing in new ways. The colors were so bright, and each carried a specific meaning.
Then I saw another smaller rainbow within the bigger one. Though it was incredibly beautiful, it wasn’t meant for enjoying it, but what mattered most was the message each color carried.
The ones connected with the Eastern Gates had the understanding, those who weren’t connected, simply enjoyed it watching the dawn and the change of colors.”
I wonder how people do not rush in Christ’s arms.
Look at His last words – “Go! Do not build houses on earth! GO – because you’re strangers on earth, go walk on it and carry the seeds of life. Remain strangers.
Many of you went, but by now have lost the vision and started envying the ungodly. You started using your head like everybody else and lost Ruah. Ruah is not there.
If you are honest, don’t you feel, when you leave the cross, when there are no tears in your prayers, you haven’t knelt for long- you feel no need in praying on your knees. Don’t you feel that all things become dull and empty? Don’t you feel this hellish loneliness because of lack of strength and sense of being; that nothing has a point and only passions remain with you. As long as you’re young and fresh it seems to be part of you, but this isn’t what you were made for, it’s not what feeds your eternal soul.
You have to enter into purpose and take the path of the purpose of the Lord Jesus Christ. His pupose for you is to work hard – to work hard for His glory!
Each of us has his own inner theology in regard to our special features. But you also need revelation. I used to have an inner contradiction between my inner understanding of myself and the outside testimony of the Holy Spirit through prophetic vessels. Then this “distance” became smaller, which is also a big difficult work, when you need to accept things not as a blind fanatic, but you had to harmonize to see and believe the same way. You can’t deceive your own heart. You can roll it up, knock it deaf and transit into believing things while you remain unrighteous. This is why it is said not to judge one another, because when He comes and shines light on what is hidden in the darkness, He will have His assessment.
Christians can be very rough, especially in small churches they can get under one another’s skin that they press people out of the church. They make such conditions and a non-verbal message that the person is undesirable in this community. Who would stay? He’d rather go where there’s no word, but one can breathe there.
Don’t do this, but let people be free, be yourself.
We are called to bless. Speak the words of God, speak the words of Christ. Even if it’s a sword, it is pure. And if the words cut, it is His sword.
Before you begin a matter you have to know what you have to say. If your message is not clear then you cut with a blunt axe. It refers to the arts as well, when it speaks nothing. Therefore I strongly encourage honesty. Be pure, lift up God, and do not play with this, because if you do trading, you melt down God’s vessels into coins – do not do this. Glorify God, glorify Christ and be pure.
Some have their axes blunt – they are ashamed of the Lord, I see this: when the blade is blunt you have to put a lot of effort, and so you do. Wisdom can correct this. Get sharp, make your sword sharp with the blood of Christ. Where there’s no direct Gospel, there’s no power. But the Lord said, you shall receive power and shall be My witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.
We are called to bless. And God blesses His people – why? So that we may be a blessing. Think if a man is blessed – he will bless. Blessing emanates from the one whom God has blessed. And take a man who curses, who gives nothing – he is not blessed. Man can’t be blessed and speak curse, give dirty waters, you can’t join these two things. Blessing flows from blessing. The Lord’s blessing enriches with the blessing and brings no sorrow for other people, but it makes them glad and strengthened.
The Lord says in Malachai 1:2 – “I have loved you”. What words! One should engrave them on his heart and carry it as a great treasure! “I have loved you” – says the Lord.
And the most important for man, the commandment, if to extract the very core is “LOVE”, just in one word. It’s not “believe”, but “love”. In your faith show love. And I were to choose just one word from the whole Bible, I would choose “Love”.
And it’s not about behavior. I often do something that I may regret afterwards, like the wrong word or emotion, but love can’t be put out by those many waters.
If you have love, you abide in God’s will, you accept His love, you are in His foolishness, your healing rises and you keep going, by love.
I don’t know if I’ve become better since the beginning of my belief. I used to be naive in certain issues and maximalistic. A long time has passed, over thirty years, but love can’t be worse. Love is the highest quality of being. I wouldn’t say I’ve become better, wider or purer. But I want to keep the fire, keep myself in the foolishness and be moved by love – the Lord will judge.
Therefore, bless, and do not curse. Do not speak evil, don’t speak gossip and lies. Guard your lips, because lips defile heart. You seem to give out bad words, but you receive curse for yourself…
“And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”(Mark 12:29-31).
There’s no greater commandment than these! Why do we rush to the other ones having not fulfilled these – I don’t know, I don’t understand.
There’s no limit to loving the Lord, He will never pull at you saying, “you love Me too much”. Do you realize what a bliss this is when you have no limits to enter in the infinite spaces of love?
Our Christianity should be inspirational, not reasonable! When His people pray, cry out on their knees, God abides in this flow. Keep this foolishness! This is the way we should stand before the Lord! Cry and weep before Him, be weak before Him- this is the kind of prayer, naked, that is called to love with your soul.
I see how people can show no emotion in prayer – they show more emotion to their loved people who are supposed to be farther than God, Savior, Creator. Give all your emotions to God! I don’t want to pray by reason, untouched, bored –
I want to stay with people who cry out, weep, who are foolish. Give out yourself totally to God – do not steal yourself from God!
Give also all your intellect and understanding to God, do not trade God’s gold. He gave you gifts- praise the Lord with them! He is not the One to be ashamed of, He is King – He may give a glance and you melt, either up or down. Give all your intellect for the service of the Lord, give all your higher gifts for His glory! Give all your strength which you do have!
And this “love” should be burning on our hearts, with all your heart, mind, soul, body, might and understanding- love your God!
